    New hair now!

    I am a female with very thin hair on the top of my head. I have had this issue for about 10 years. I would never try Rogaine, too proud. In a desperate moment, I ordered a can of men’s Rogaine. After 3 months of once a day use, I have hair! My hairdresser cannot believe and accused me of dying my hair! It was not dyed but thicker! I am a believer and continue using men’s Rogaine!

    My husband has been using this stuff for quite a while as a preventative. While we can’t attest to it’s ability to regrow hair, it seems to be a very nice preventative. He did a lot of reading and apparently Rogaine works great as a preventative. We’ve had no adverse side effects, or scalp itching.

    Foam vs Liquid

    I’ve tried both the foam and the liquid forms of Rogaine and both work great. I prefer the foam most days because it is easier to apply and less « runny ». The foam does leave some residue, though, so I like the liquid better when I don’t want any residue or oiliness in my hair. I just use less when I’m using the liquid and apply a few drops at a time, rub it in well, and make sure not to let it drip all over.But in general, for men, I think this foam is an improvement because its so easy to use and since I wash my hair every day anyway, I don’t usually mind the residue too much.Both Rogaines work great, it just takes a few months to start to see the benefit and its hard to be patient that long but they make a huge difference if I stick with it and don’t forget to apply it.

    I was sent the drops insert of the foam so I will talk about both. My husband’s dermatologist recommended rogaine to him a couple months ago to help with hair thinning. He has been using the foam for a while and said he is noticing less hair falling out so it is doing great at maintaining the hair he has at this time. I have noticed a little bit of baby hair growth but based off of that I expect it will keep improving! He told me he prefers the foam over the drops but the drops work equally as well and are the same active ingredients. He just feels like the foam is easier to disperse through his hair. In his opinion the foam is also easier to control and can be applied to the hand first instead of using the dropper to apply to the scalp.

    Great product!

    I think it works great. Noticed new hair growing within days whereas most other products tell you you’ll notice it working in about 2 months. This has even began growing hairs on my hairline although it is recommended for use on the crown of your head. 5 stars no question!

    Works like it should!

    I bought this for the hubby because he started thinning, it comes with age and totally normal.As long as you use it daily you’ll see results within a couple months. Just keep at it and don’t get discouraged. You will have to keep using it though or your hair will start to thin again.I have to sometimes put it in his hair because it is kinda like mousse. But he’s much happier that his hair is like it used to be 🙂

    2.5 months and a noticeable difference

    it is working for me. trying to grow beard. I use very little and moisturizing about 3-4 times daily. it is important that you moisturize. otherwise it gets itchy.

    Long time? Smelly? Huh??? No idea where these other reviewers are coming from…After the first month, I noticed that I no longer had « hair on my pillow. » I can’t honestly say that I see a growth of new hair in my thinning spot, but the fact that I no longer see a pillow full of hair every morning, or a shower drain clogged with hair after I shower must mean that I am not losing hair (as fast) any more.I don’t think this is a « cure » for baldness. Rather, it _does_ seem to slow the loss of hair in the « male pattern baldness » area of the top rear head. That is all it claims to do, and it appears to do it (for me) extremely well.I have been using it for a year now, and am very pleased with the results. Yes, you have to keep using it, and as directed. I tried to cut back to once a day and after a month I started seeing more hair on my pillow in the morning again. Went back to the recommended twice a day and « no more hair ».Don’t expect miracles if you are already bald, but if you use this as directed, you will likely see a large reduction in hair loss. At least I did…

    IT WORKS

    Keep in mind, the results will be noticeable in a month or two. The delivery is incredibly fast. Don’t listen to anybody, if you need it, just try it yourself and use it two times a day for 2 months at least, and then decide if it works for you or not.

    Wear gloves, I was putting it on my hands and rubbing it into my scalp, the formula is so strong my hands began to grow hair uncontrollably, now I have hairy hands and a bald head

    I got great results.

    I have been using for quite some time. I am ok on my crown, but I was losing hair on my right temple. It got so bad that if I pulled my hair back with my hand I could clearly see my scalp on the side in the mirror even after 6 weeks of my visit to the barber shop.Some say its not made for growing hair on the sides or temple, but I see good results and I see more little hairs growing on my front hairline. I used the liquid version, but it showed little or no results and i could only use it during the day since I would get itchiness on my scalp. I was worried and disappointed until I read that some people mentioned that they got better results with the foam. I tried it and bingo! And the foam I use it twice a day as directed and no problem. Maybe its the direct rubbing on your scalp that makes this product work. I dont know, but I am sure that I got great results and my recommendation is that keep trying until you find what works best for you.
