Pourquoi utiliser le Minoxidil 5% Rogaine Mousse ?
-

I used this twice a day and saw results in about 2 months. Even though my doctor said continued use was necessary to keep the hair, I stopped use just to see how long the results would last. I did indeed notice hair falling back out/thinning again in the applied area after nearly 5 months. Might not work for everyone, but based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this.

This will work if you are patient. I kept on losing my hair until I tried Rogaine. It was the only thing that saved me from losing most of my hair. I was hesitant to use this at first and did not see signs of regrowth until 2 months. I kept on using this product and all my hair grew back in. I can only suggest you try this, I know how hard it is to look in the mirror everyday and see more and more hair loss. Using Rogaine brought not only back my hair but my self confidence

Im 18 years old and I started balding at 17 .The first time I noticed that my hairline was receding was in may 2018.I didnt know what to do. I was still going to school and I was getting bullyed by some students and also my family members especcially my dad . My dad is also bald my uncle and also my mother side grandfather. So its genetic. Then I said to myself I don’t want to go bald at a young age and that I need to take action. But I didn”t have money .So then in Jully 2019 I started working and I was getting paid and I was using saw palmetto but my hair kept getting worse ,It was bloody hell I was crying all the time and I was mad at my look. I was loosing hope. Then januari 2020 I found out about minoxidil and finasteride. At first I was scared about life long effects and shedding and I said you know give them a try.And then came covid 19 and I spend my time at home working on getting my hair back on track and here I am. Thanks god.At first I shed like crazy on my temples and also on top .Now I’m on my 1.5 month using minoxidil + finasteride.Check out these results I’m speechless

I have been using it about 4 months. My bald spot is no longer bald. Still thin but not bald. Definitely noticeably more hair across the top of my head. I can see it. My wife sees it and even a male coworker noticed (I had mentioned months before that I was going to try it).

Buy with confidence because its the same product that you would buy in the store, except that you save some money. Its not much but hey at least you save some.

Decent price, foam is good to avoid problems associated with Propylene Glycol (flake). Very good. Only issue, is if it’s hot in the room, the foam melt as soon as you scoop it the cap, and I need to smear the liquid on my scalp. As for Minoxidil effectiveness as a whole, too early to tell, but many vellus grew thicker. I have good regrowth (but I had a shed of hair that was due to an hormonal dysfunction, which was fixed) so hardly can attribute it only to minoxidil. BUT, I think it makes slowly thicker hair out of my thinning ones.Drawback, makes my hair greasyReceived in 1 day, perfect.

My dad asked me to buy this for him because he’s balding. It hasn’t brought back the hair from his bald spot but it has made the hair around it that’s still there much thicker. If it wasn’t for this product he would probably have a bologna spot right now.

I ordered one month ago and it works phenomenally fast. My hair began thinning out in, 2016; I used every supplement under the Sun to make the thinning stop; but to no avail. I finally acquiesced and purchased Rogaine; within one month, my thinning hair began to thicken and grow. . . Now I’m hooked. Plan to Subscribe and Save going forward. 😊Thanks Rogaine 😊

I’m 34 and I have very thick hair naturally. I noticed that my hair was thinning on the sides about two years ago. The front of the hairline was noticeably thinner to me than the hair behind it, and I was losing hair everyday in the shower beyond anything that was normal for me. I was fortunate to have a fairly flat teenage hairline for most of my 20s, but the progression of the thinning at the hairline in my 30s led me to try rogaine. While it has not restored the flat hairline I used to have, it has prevented further loss of the hairline and the hairs at the front of the hairline are very noticeably thicker than they were before I started roagine. After 6-8 months on rogaine, it doesn’t look like I’ve had any hair loss at all. Takeaways: Rogaine will likely stop future hairloss and thicken up the thin hairs you have at the front. However, it’s not going to do much for the spots that are already bald. It’s pretty cheap…and you’ll know if it works or not after 6 months. If you’re losing hair and aren’t committed to being bald dude, I’d give it a shot and see if it helps you.

It’s hard to tell how effective it is when you have thin hair but haven’t begun to noticeably bald because it slowly grows in hair and when you look everyday you don’t notice the small increase in hair. However, if you stop using it, you notice how much hair disappears and realize just how effective it was. Additionally, the real stuff has been a lot better than the cheaper brands. The cheaper brands leave you with a burning scalp and the smell of alcohol.

It works! Keep realistic results in mind. My hair was pretty bad its not back to 100% but keep in mind its about improvements not perfection and im happy! 3 months of use once a day.

I’m a 20 year old Male who has noticed balding around the crown of my head since my late senior year of high school (3years ago). I ignored the problem for some time until my junior year of college when it became so bad I was too self concous to leave the house without a hat on my head. I purchased this item two months ago, and thanks to this product I finally regained my confidence and started ditching the hat at home. I will be honest, I have not been the best about applying this product twice a day, sometimes going a day where I forget to apply it all together. I do however apply it at least about 10x a week, once in the morning and once at night. Although the results are just begining to show it is so much better than what it had been before. I was unsure of how great the product would work if applying it right after I got out of the shower; but for all of you wondering, it seems to have no effect on hair regrowth. My only recommendation would be to town dry your hair before applying so it’s not dripping wet. Balding is embarrassing and super hard to talk ab especially if you are as self concous as I am, but this product has essentially given me my life back!

When my son mentioned to my husband that he noticed a bald spot beginning on the back of his head, my husband went straight to Amazon and purchased Men’s Rogaine Extra Strength 5% Minoxidil Topical Solution for Hair Loss and Hair Regrowth, Topical Treatment for Thinning Hair. It really does seem to stop the cycle of hair loss and we have been replacing it before he runs out. Great purchase.

This is a very good product, but it’s not a magic potion. I have been using it for years, and seen others use it for years and here is what I can attest to: The sooner you start using Rogaine, the better. Yes, for some people, not that many, it grows hair where there was none {and yes, you could be one of those). But, the most common effect of Rogaine is to help you keep most of the hair you already have and maybe help a little in areas you still hair (but want more). So, if a “normal” human loses 100 hairs a day, and you are losing 150 [which is terrible, because day after day, that adds up…], if Rogaine can decrease that daily loss to 110 or less, that is fantastic. That is the effect it has in me and I am very happy. Would I wish it was more effective in the regrowing part, YEAH, but while such product appears this is doing me a great service. And it does help, although to a lesser extent, for frontal baldness and receding hairline (not by regrowing, but by significantly delaying the hair loss process). Now, should you use foam or liquid. Well, for me the answer is very simple, but some people are not going to like to hear it. Since I started using Rogaine early in my hair loss, I still have a lot of hair, so when I have used foam I wasted a lot of Rogaine that didn’t get to scalp but was stuck in the hair. That is not going to help me, or anybody else. It has to get to the scalp. That is why I love the liquid form.Foam is for those who, unfortunately, waited too long. The only way foam gets to your scalp is if there is no hair, or very little hair, in its way. That explains why these people also claim that the liquid form drips down their face, because they don’t have enough hair to stop it. My only suggestion for “foam people” is that if they have areas with lots of hair, don’t neglect them, apply some Rogaine on them [making sure it gets to the scalp], its the best way to assure you are going to keep those areas… and maybe regrow from there, who knows…That’s it. I have used it for more than a decade and it has helped me tremendously. Although, like you, I can’t wait for science to produce the definitive solution in the near future. Until then, good luck to us all!

I know Rogaine is marketed for hair regrowth. I don’t have this as an issue. I use it to strengthen, thicken, and make my hair far more manageable. I have naturally curly, baby fine hair. It is abundant, but is easily damaged and prone to breakage and frizz. I use Rogaine several times a week, and it keeps my hair in excellent shape. Thickens the hair shaft, keeps it from breaking, and makes my hair more resilient. Calms the frizz, keeps my hair from falling out, and also seems to help with damaged, spit ends. I use it when my hair is thoroughly dry, and before styling. I am a woman, and often find products marketed toward our gender more expensive. So I buy this, and save. I ran out once and decided to see if it really did make that big of a difference. I went approximately a month without using it, and I was astounded. My hair’s condition was terrible. When I ordered more of this and resumed using it and within just a few days my hair was looking great again. I prefer the foam, as it is far easier to apply and control then the liquid. This foam has no scent, and it is part of my hair care regime. Rogaine foam makes me actually like my hair and much so much easier to style.

I bought this to help my beard grow in finally; I’m 30, and only had a few full grown facial hairs and a dirt stache. Needless to say, I was growing desperate. I have heart issues and occasional palpitations, so I refused to try this for a long time. I started out slow, but I’ve learned that I can use the full daily dose and it doesn’t give me any heart trouble! It also doesn’t break me out or dry my skin, so that’s awesome. I didn’t rate it for scent, because it just smells like straight alcohol. Fine for head hair, but tough to inhale when using it on my upper lip.Now onto the actual results. I’m on month 5 now, and I have a full mustache and chin strap already. The hairs are going from nonexistant, to long thin hairs, to full-grown, thick hairs in an incredibly short time. I’m absolutely blown away that I can even achieve results like this! I’ve tried for so long to get my hairs to come in, but nothing worked until this stuff! Everyone keeps commenting on my new facial hair! I’m so happy, and intend on continuing with Rogaine until the rest fully grows in.The first bottle of foam lasted me 3 months! However, it needs to be kept in cool temperatures. Since my house gets hot in the summer, the foam is much more melted now, and goes on less effectively. So I don’t think my other two bottles will last nearly as long, but that’s fine. My first “1 month supply” lasted me 3 months, so I can’t complain!I’m so happy I found Minoxidil as a treatment for beard growth. It’s truly life changing!

I rarely write reviews but in this case I had to make an exception. This product is absolutely amazing. The before and after pictures are only 3 months apart! If you are thinning do yourself a favor and start using this product immediately. The only side effect I can think of is people stopped asking me if I’m going bald anymore.

I’ve been applying this twice daily for 4 months now and the results have been awesome. I also use this on my hair line and have noticed my hair thicker there as well (sorry, no pics). I started using Nioxin shampoo/conditioner (1) around the same time so it seems like the combination is working!2021 Update: I tried the Kirkland brand for a little while to mix it up and it did not work as well for me. I also don’t use the Nioxin as I phased that out and it seemed to have no effect on my hair after I stopped using it. I’ve tried a lot of supplements and products and have found the best combo for me is Rogaine and Viviscal (supplement). I also have a laser cap but not sure if it’s doing much. Lastly, I use a hair fiber filler on my thin areas (I use Cabooki) and that stuff is amazing. Besides products, I’ve been trying to exercise more and have a more well rounded diet (I drink a lot of juice mixes). I’m just trying to maintain my current hair situation until I can hopefully do a FUE transplant.

Stick with it, it really does work. I used rogain for about a year before I joined Costco for a year and started buying their version of minoxidil and I used it for a good 6 months. Rogain definitely works better. I don’t see any lightness or thinning on my scalp like I did with their product. My head has a lot of coverage now and can personally attest that this is a better product. I stopped taking finasteride because of the side effects. I feared thinning, but I just started using rogain more religiously. I put it on after every shower and I try to shower twice a day as much as possible just to get extra rogaine application. I see even more thickness than I did with finasteride and I don’t have to deal with the side effects (depression, moody ness).Yes you have to use this everyday for the rest of your life. Yes if you stop using it you’ll begin to lose hair again, more rapidly is what I was told but at the end of the day everyone who suffers from male pattern baldness has a pattern that will eventually occur if you don’t use preventative measures. That being said, you either accept balding or use prevention everyday. I chose the latter.

It works and has saved my hair. I didn’t appreciate rogaine foam until I used Kirkland minoxodil topical solution. That thing made me itch like crazy, completely dried out my hair and even caused some hair loss and also caused higher facial hair growth as it dripped down. I guess Rogaine has a lifelong customer. I have been using rogaine foam for 5 years and I have never had a single issue. It does dry out your hair a little , but that’s a small price to pay for having hair in the first place. It definitely slows down or prevents frontal baldness though they specifically tell you that this is not what it should be used for. My barber who I have been going to for 14 years said I have not lost any hair when I went to him after a couple of years, though I felt I have lost some volume on the front, though it’s not that visible. If you don’t use it for a couple of weeks like when you are traveling and forgot to take it, you will notice hair loss, however if you start applying it it goes back to normal. Regular application of this twice a day is highly recommended. Apparently studies have shown that it’s safe to use till 65. I have black hair and it works for me. I was concerned about this when I bought it.Cons – This is a lifetime contract and your hair will fall if you stop using it. Decide and think hard before you buy or use. I advised my brother to buy but he didn’t and has been maintaining his hair line through regular hair oil massage ( I was surprised too !! ) The price has gone up over the years though, so you might wanna keep that in mind when you enter into this lifetime contract. Think of this as like gardening. If you stop watering your plants they die and in this case you lose more hair than what grew in the first place. Some people have reported that it does not work for them. I also have to warn that for heriditary frontal male pattern baldness it does not cure/ grow back lost hair ( you need a hair transplant if it looks very bad ). It replenishes the lost hair so that you can keep what you have and not become bald. I have not used it for what it was originally intended for which is hair loss at the back or spot baldness ( This is what it was first advertised for when it came out )

During 2016-17 I started losing my hair at a rapid clip. After a few tests, wasn’t coming up with any conclusive reason. Reluctantly and with great skepticism, I decided to try Rogaine; after all I had nothing to lose except more hair growth. The first photo is my hairloss at it’s worst, the second is four months of using Rogaine and the last is around a year later. I use the mens formula every morning and the women’s three for four additional days in the evening. Sorry that it doesn’t work for some, but, two years laterI am a dedicated successful user.

The attached pictures shows my progress in the first cycle. I did not think about taking a picture to show my initial start, but in the picture where I am wearing a red shirt, that date was 07/31/2020, and the second picture shows my progress as of 09/15/2020. It’s important that I point out I have not been taking the recommended dosage of twice a day, that’s because I usually forget my second dosage before bed time. I believe I am having decent growth and I recommend this product. I will start my second cycle (the next 3 cans), sometime this week.

Giving this 5 stars for now….I plan on using it for 4 months and at the end of that time, will be prepared to give a well informed review based on my experience….I’m going to update this review once a month. Some background…49 y/o male. Had one hair replacement treatment at a place that begins with a B. After 2 years bare spots at back top, top and front. Not willing to pay the price for more hair replacements.Month 1:* I’m using this on my entire head, not just the back top. Based on that, my 3 month supply was gone in about a month and that’s ok with me.* I put dabs all over then massage/rub it in until it’s almost dry, then brush my hair…It seems to be a pretty good styling product. So much so that I use much less of the normal stuff I use.* No noticeable shedding. I mean I’m in the process of losing my hair, so there will be some loss whether I use this product or not.* No noticeable dandruff* I use this 2x a day. After morning shower and hair is dry. After evening shower and hair is dry.* I do not expect results of any significance for a while, and I don’t check every day…But I have noticed some differences..Month 2:* Half of this month I’ve only had time to apply once a day…It was done in the manner I mentioned in Month 1* Some hair loss and within the last week, itching* Noticed some new hair growth* Not much else to report….I’m happy so far and no new surprises are a good thing…:-)Month 3:* Continued the only once daily regime for most of the month* Occasional second application before bedtime over hair that was washed in the morning and had 1st application of Rogaine along with styling product in it* Noticeable filling in of top back, left front and right front. But middle right front seems to have less hair…Could be from normal loss or shedding due to this product…Don’t know but everywhere else seems to be very very slowly filling in.I expected very slow results, if any at all and that’s what I’m seeing…This month will be month number 4 and after the end of it, I’ll make a decision on if I’m going to continue….I’m not totally convinced I will yet, but things look promising.

I’m 27. I started balding around 21.My scalp and forehead “peak” idk what to call it. The frontal lobe of my head lol. Regardless I’ve definitely noticed some regrowth or should I say.I’ve don’t extensive research on this product before buying and it’s usually pretty 50/50 on the results. But for me I was lucky that it worked. Now if you’re completely bald or had a bald spot for quite a while it’s probably not going to work as you are going to still need active follicles *idk if I’m saying this right* vs dead follicles. For example. Where my thumb is in the photo. Just an inch above use to be hair there! Fullness like Elvis lol. But with hair loss follicles die and no longer can hold hair. Unless you do hair plants I believe *which is expensive and not always successful.* but that spot I’m referring to will always be bald. Nothing I can do.But the thinning parts on my scalps have a chance to regrow. They also say to wait about 6 months for results. I got slight results in 2. 6 my hair is growing in thicker, stronger and faster.Another thing is you have to keep using this product or it will stop treating your hair follicles and the same thing may happen again. you should use it twice daily. Once in morning once at night. Just enough to get the skin wet.It says to put it on scalp only. I say bullshit. I put it everywhere. That’s what I’ve been doing and I’ve definitely noticed results.I hope this product works for you.

I used Rogain because it was recommended by my dermatologist. Although I am a woman, I took the men formula because they are not different (except for the packaging). The hair loss stopped after 1 month and half of daily usage (once a day). I spaced it since to one application every 2 or 3 days because the hair is still fragile but the shading stopped. It does not have any scent and very easy to use.

Men’s rogaine foam is many times more effective than rogaine liquid. When first attempting to restore your hair, use the foam twice a day and be generous with application. A single can should last between 2-3 weeks instead of the month they claim. After 6 months one should notice considerable thickening as well as some restoration of the hairline. After the initial restoration phase you can maintain your results with a once a day application as described above without fear of hair loss, even if you forget to apply a couple times a week.

I’ve been using Rogane for 4 months now and have had significant hair growth. I use it twice a day and have never missed a day putting this in my hair. You have to be patient. And it works all over my head, front of my head too. It came quite as a surprise with how well my hair has regrown, especially since i was almost bald on top. I’m no longer embarrassed to go out in public without wearing a hat all the time. It’s so much cheaper than getting hair replacement. If you want even better results, go to the doctor and get a script for propecia it will double your chances. You just need to ask yourself, ” how much do you want hair”? Remember, the faster you use Rogane the faster it will grow your hair. It took 3 solid months to really notice the results.

After a month of use, you will lose more hair than normal but be patient. Then on about the fourth month, you will see rapid improvement on the thickness and overall health of your hair. My side effects so far are blurry vision with mild weight gain. The side effects go almost unnoticed and in all due honesty who cares if it means I wont go bald.

I’ve been using Rogaine for a little over 2 and a half months now, and I guess I’m pretty lucky. I’ve had rather advanced regrowth in my hair in a short period of time. Attached are my before and after pictures. Before treatment you can see aggressive hair loss that began about 4 to 5 years ago just after turning 20 years old. Lots of hair was shedding in the shower, and on my hands while styling. You can actually see the shine from my scalp reflecting from the overhead light. After just 11 weeks of twice a day use though, there has been regrowth, and it’s not an insignificant amount. After about 4-5 weeks I noticed I was shedding less. 6-8 weeks in my shower floor was looking much cleaner, with less scalp showing. Then shortly after that, thinning areas began to gradually fill in. I believe if I continue use for another couple of months, I may regrow even more hair and show very little signs of thinning! I’ve also been using Pura’Dor hair loss prevention shampoo with Rogaine (expensive, but worth it if you care about maximizing results). Please don’t use this product, then damage your hair with a cheap, harsh, and damaging shampoo. Give your head everything it needs to be healthy.Only side effect I’ve noticed is some random pains in my chest, so I may reduce dosage somewhat. Remember that this medication was originally designed for blood pressure issues, so only use as much as you think you need. More is not better, that’s how you end up with side effects. Aside from that, I haven’t had any itching or dryness that others complain about. All in all, I wasn’t sure if Rogaine actually worked or if it just slowed down hair loss. But I truly believe it looks like I have more overall hair than I used to just a few months ago, and I’m excited to see what my hair will look like after 4 or even 5 months of use. Just hoping the recent start of discomfort in my chest goes away.Hope this gives you guys hope. Don’t quit if you don’t see results within a few months! I recommend buying a 6 month supply, taking detailed pics before, then use it twice a day for at least 4 months. Be disciplined and don’t skip doses! Some guys take longer than others to respond. Monitor how much hair you’re seeing shed in the shower, but try not to think about it or over analyze the regrowth too early. Just let it do it’s thing, then check yourself after you’ve finished 3-4 cans. Good luck!

So, Rogaine foam is the best solution if you are a man with androgenic alopecia. Rogaine foam is the least greasy, easiest to apply and the most effective. I have tried everything and researched everything, so you can rest assured that if you are using Rogaine foam, you are doing everything the best for your hair. It just work wonders! (unless you are bald already of course). Good luck guys!

I love Rogaine foam. It is easy to apply and smells really good. I have been using for three months along with Propidren
Propidren DHT Blocker with Saw Palmetto to Prevent Hair Loss and Stimulate Hair Follicles to Stop Hair Loss and Regrow Hair
and notice much less hair in the shower and on my pillow, so it is definitely working. It is a great value on Amazon as well, can’t beat the price.

I used the liquid form of minoxidil for a while and it was a mess, foam is absolutely superior in every way. I’ve used it on both my head and my face and it works really well for fixing a patchy beard, not so much for regrowing the hair on my head. It is a long process though, you have to use it every day twice a day to get consistent results.
brandon –
I’ve seen results on my face. Some say to leave it on 4+ hours. I just put it on after a shower and leave it there. Have had some extra hair growth on ears and eyebrows. Nothing crazy though. No weird side effects for me. I also would use it like every other day

I had low blood pressure so not too much blood got yo my ny head. The hair fell out. I’m a woman in her ear,y sixties and fighting it. I saw the laser comb and other products to grow hair. My dermatologist said for me it was Rogaine. It took a year before I was fighting short hairs all over and it gave me back my hair line. I hate needing it. I’m grateful they make it. This strength wasn’t tested on women which is why it doesn’t have a recommendation for women. My hair was falling out and this is what the doctor prescribed. Assuming you’re not sick you should see growth much sooner. Short of miracles this is it. I had to learn to use less and massage it it into the scal, fast so it coveted a larger area. I think the massaging helped too. I got my hairline back and my neighbor said, “You look like you have a new head of hair.” Exactly. So until they can correct my blood pressure at least it doesn’t look bad. Speak with the company. They have good advice and are honest about the product. That massaging now feels relaxing at the end of the day instead of a way to spread the product. Why not give yourself a treat along the way. HandG in. It works.

Full disclosure – I have a decent head of hair with minimal thin areas. I use this twice a day to prevent hairloss and keep my hair healthy. Any new growth would be an added bonus. My hair looks fuller when I use this in the morning. Everyone asks me what I use in my hair. The product itself adds more density once it dries and helps my hair keep it’s style.

Amazon has this at a good price. Rogain has a very long history and my husband has been using it for years. If you use it, commit to it; otherwise, when you stop you will lose your hair again. Read package carefully. He only likes the foam

It’s all about patience and commitment to this product if you want to see results. Been applying everyday for 7 months, maybe forgot a couple of days to apply. The pictures speak for themselves. You will obviously see better results if your hair loss isn’t that advanced but if it is it should not discourage you to try, I’ve seen people with much worse hair loss with positive results.

My husband had been experiencing so hair loss and he used the product every day for a few weeks when we noticed a obvious difference in hair growth. The foam is easy to use and apply. Due to the quick results he has made this part of his daily routine of applying it everyday.
Careful Consumer –
Foam is the better way to apply this product, so spend a little more because it won’t drip into your eyes and burn like liquid can. Rub it in and/or brush it into the affected area vigorously, then wash your hands well. I have been using 5% minoxidil for almost 19 years to hold back my male pattern baldness. It can’t always turn back the hands of time, but it can hold them in place.

When I started experiencing pretty severe hair loss, my dermatologist told me to try Rogaine for men 5% (I am a woman). He said do not use their instructions; rather, use 2 cap-fulls all over my scalp after every wash. And he stressed, use the men’s 5%. I followed his instructions religiously. My hair is now thicker than I think it was when I was in my 20s. Keep in mind, if you have lost a lot of hair like I did, the grow-out period is not necessarily nice. I felt I looked like a brunette Qtip at times. And I also have curlyish hair, which made the grow-out more challenging. But after about a year and a half, the shorter hair is catching up to the longer hair and is thick and healthy. I will always use this to keep my hair the way it is now.One thing my dermatologist did say, if you are a guy and start to use Rogaine after you have lost hair, it probably will not help grow hair back. It will keep the hair you have from falling out, but you will not have new growth. Weird, I know. If you have hair loss in your family, start using Rogaine while you still have hair. That’s what my dermatologist has done and at 70-something, his hair is super thick.

Hard to believe this, but it actually stopped my hair loss 100% within a month. If you are thinning, get this ASAP.Been losing my hair for several years and was depressed about it. Decided to try Rogaine Foam and it actually stopped my hair loss. I used to see hair all over my hands in the shower, and now I see none after using it for about 1-2 months. Haven’t seen much hair grow back yet, but it without question stopped by hair loss dead in it’s tracks.

AMAZING! Have to admit I was skeptical because if this can grow hair then why is anyone bald, right? But OMG! In just 3 months my embarrassing and worrisome thin/bare spots along my front hairline are FILLED with new hair!! I’m in love with my ever-sprouting baby hairs. Don’t even have to use it daily. I just use it 3-4 times a week 1x per day after I wash my hair. That’s it! Don’t know why it’s marketed for men, because ladies, your luxurious pre-menopausal locks can grow back!! Highly recommend!

I have tried so many hair loss shampoo’s, pills and everything else.I saw pictures of rogaine users before/after and just didn’t think it was real.Eventually I thought to give it a try. When I bought it, I got disappointed that it’s made for only the “crown” area. I always assumed it would work everywhere since their advertising never specified “just the crown.”I have a balding in my crown area + severely receeding front. What I mea by “balding in my crown area,”is that my hair has a “dip,” where hair is loosing it ability to grow at the same pace as the other areas around it.I used rogaine for 1 month and saw nothing. Sometimes when I applied it, it even stung really bad. Everthing in the package said to use it fully “3 bottles of mouse for three months.” I only did once per day because it would sting if I did 2x a day.2nd month I saw nothing. I was about to throw it away. I kept at it but didn’t pay attention to my crown area anymore. Just thought I would completely use it and then check it then.3rd month. I was doing my hair and I saw my “dip” severely diminished. I was surprised. Over the next few days, I paid attention to my hair more and I was suprised that it actually worked.I will now stick with this product since I am now very satisfied with the results I got.

This product does what it says it can. My dermatologist recommended this product when I showed him the growing loss of hair at the front of my head. I was not interested in having a “V” of receding hair. You must continue to use it. If you do not, the hair growth will cease. Although the product is marketed for men, my dermatologist recommended I use it. Older women, like myself, who are losing their hair, should seriously consider this product. Check with a dermatologist first for his advice.

I had a hair transplant last year and Rogaine was recommended as well as finasteride (Proscar) 1mg daily. Not sure which is doing the job, but I’ve definitely noticed less hair loss in my sink or bathtub drain. Everyone tells me my hair looks thicker. Try it…what have you got to lose except more hair?

For some its all you will need. For others that it works for, they will use it as part of a regimine. I feel younger and look better with more hair. This will not work if you have completely lost all hair in the spot you hope to regrow/maintain. Even small thin hair is ok to work with.As far as using it for the rest of your life, it’s not a big deal for the results. I use it only once a day, not too, just before bed. Make sure to really spend 3-5 minutes massaging it into your scalp as the circulation is important for it to work. I noticed a difference in effect once I started using the product correctly (even with just once a day).I use it in combination with Pumpkin Seed Oil (500 mg) and Saw Palmeto and Biotin. I initially used just Rogaine for 4 months to judge effect, it helped but not enough just by itself. I phased in the pumpkin seed oil / saw palmetto next and together I’m very happy with the results. Pumpkin seed oil and saw palmeto basically work in the same way that propecia works, but are natural. Very noticeable difference with all the products. Biotin makes your hair grow faster and makes it more healthy.I also highly recommend stop using anything but warm water on your scalp at most. Hot water removes the essential oils from your scalp and is not helping you. I’ve switched to brushing my hair for 5 minutes a day and shampooing much less (you are literally using detergent on your hair and taking away all natural oils).

Works great. After 9 months I noticed a huge difference and my hair was back. The bad reviews I’ve read are from people who don’t understand how the product works. In the tests used to secure FDA approval, minoxidil was primarily tested on the top of the scalp and crown, resulting in a common belief that it only works on these areas. It doesn’t JUST work on the crown. It works all over. Yeah, you have to use it twice a day and it’s not inexpensive but it’s worth 33 cents a day to keep my hair.It doesn’t work for everyone but you have to continuously use it. Twice a day! Stop being lazy if you wanna keep your hair. 😂

my husband went to a doctor for a hair loss at a young age and she suggested this product to him. So what it does is stops the new hair from from falling out and eventually i would say after a 2-3 weeks you see results. new hair grows in and the old one stays too. so you end up with a full hair. you cant stop using this product though. the minute you stop you go back to loosing hair.

I have been thinning at a rapid pace since my mid-20s. I’m confident that had I not started using Rogaine, I would need to have shaved my head at this point. There has been very little new growth after a year (baby hairs, sure, but nothing that fills in the thinning) but the rate of loss has dropped to nearly nothing. I wish I started using it earlier to preserve my old thickness. I use it on the front of my head, and it’s worked.Short version here: if you’re looking for regrowth, this might not work for you. If you’re thinning and want to slow the loss, go for it. You won’t regret it.

As pictured. Brand name Rogaine. in original packaging. I am surprised I like this better than the pump spray but , I do. I think the foam causes less itchiness than the liquid. rated 4 stars because the generic ones are significantly cheaper but, I have not tried the generic foam.

It works fairly well as long as you continue to use it. However you should be aware that if you chose to use this product and then suddenly stop, you will have less hair than when you started. You are pretty much trapped into this product for life unless you seek alternative therapy.

I am moderate frontal balding and it’s getting to the point where the bare scalp is starting to show. I tried the liquid version of Costco minoxidil once few years ago and it did not work. I thought I’d give this product a try before I opt for hair surgery. For some reason the foam version from Rogaine is working like magic. In 3 months time, my hair is significantly more dense and has more volume. What an amazing product! I will probably be using this until I’m 50.I would say the only downside is if it drips on your face from sweating, it can cause pretty bad acne. But it’s temporary and a small price to pay for good hair.

Unlike some other minoxidil products, Rogaine foam does not contain polypropylene glycol, which some people are allergic to, like I am, and which for me, caused severe inflammation and rash in my scalp and dandruff. For me, this is a very important positive of Rogaine foam, as I cannot use any product that contains polypropylene glycol without severe irritation of my scalp.I started using Rogaine foam soon after I noticed thinning of my hair. For me, Rogaine has worked and has even restored my hair growth at the front of the scalp, even though the makers of this product state that it is more effective in re-growing hair at the crown. That it worked at the front of my scalp might be due to the fact that I did not wait too long before starting Rogaine after I noticed my hair was thinning. That being said, don’t expect immediate results. The hair growth for me became evident only after several months of daily use, two times a day.As many of the reviews for this product state, it does not work for everybody, however.I much prefer Rogaine foam to the liquid variety, as it doesn’t leave as much residue in the fair, or make it as stiff and gummy feeling (this is a matter of degree). However, it still leaves some residue and I find it best to shampoo my hair every day.The manufacturer recommends placing a measured amount of this product into the cap and then transferring the material in the cap onto the scalp. I have found that applying it this way results in too little of the material reaching the scalp and too much being applied to the shafts of my hair where it does no good. Thus, I apply the Rogaine directly to my scalp, applying 3 – 4 very short bursts directly to the scalp, and then massage it into the scalp into the areas that I want hair growth. This way, the Rogaine is applied to where it should be, to the scalp and the hair follicles. However, it is difficult to measure how much product you are applying to the scalp this way. One way I try to measure is that one can of Rogaine, applied twice a day should last a month. In addition, you can try to gauge how long the bursts should be by shooting the short bursts of Rogaine into the cap to determine if it fills the cap to the point where it is marked, which is the amount of product Rogaine says should be used.

I’m 40 now and starting losing my hair when I was about 23. I tried a couple of different things over the years. Some of them were outrageously expensive. None of them really had any positive results. For the last decade or so I’ve just resigned to the idea that I’m going to be bald and starting keeping my hair about 3mm long.I have blond-ish brown hair and I noticed that my hair isn’t totally gone in most places, just that it’s been reduced to tiny, clear, almost-nothing strands of hair. I decided to try this and I noticed within a month that those tiny hairs were starting to regain some strength. It probably took 6 months before I noticed that my hair was getting fuller.I wish I had started with rogaine sooner because there are some spots I can tell are just never going to grow back but I’m really impressed with the results and I’m thinking after a year I might let my hair grow out and try a non-buzzcut style again.

I’ve been mostly using this as instructed twice daily for about 6 weeks now. I forget every so often at night to apply it. I have noticed a difference in the thickness of my hair in some of the spots that I was self-conscious about. My dermatologist recommended this, and said that it really shows most difference after 6 months of use, so I am looking forward to continued improvement.

Rogaine is a fabulous product. If you use it be sure to give it a few months. It takes time to work. It definitely thickend my hair. The only draw back is you will need to wash your hair a little more often. It tends to make your hair a little flat from the product.I will continue to use the product.

My hair is thinning near the crown and it is definitely thickening and regrowing hair in the thin areas. Give it time and it should work in the majority of cases. Easy to apply and convenient to incorporate into a daily hair care regime.

Bought for my husband who has been using it daily for months with good results and noticeable hair growth. He isn’t necessarily balding but uses it more for thickness. Not perfect, but one of the only medically proven products for hair growth. Of course, you need to use it forever of hair falls out, so be aware this is a lifelong committment. Be prepared for the money you will spend. Not ideal if you have a lot of hair loss.

Updated 3/21/2015Thought I would update my review, now that I have been using the product for about a year. I have to say that I am pretty please with the results so far. My hair is certainly thicker and in better shape than it was prior to my using Rogaine. I have continued the routine I outlined in my original review below. Now I am not saying that I have the same head of hair as I did in my twenties, I am afraid those days are gone, I can clearly see where my hair is thinner when my hair is wet. However when it is dry, I no longer see my scalp when there is a light source behind me, as I could before I started using the Rogaine. Interestingly, I think I am just coming out of a bit of a thinning phase again, though nowhere near as bad as the initial shed I went through when I started using the product. Even during this thinning phase however, my hair never got as thin as it was before I started using the product. However, I seem to be through this phase now, and I am seeing plenty of fine hairs growing in again. As these fine hair mature they do indeed darken and thicken. So I guess what I am trying to say is that you may still go through some cycles of shedding and regrowing. I guess as long as we get the regrowth, I can deal with the occasional shed.So in synopsis, what I have to say is this is a worthwhile product if you are willing to give it a real try. If it doesn’t work out for you, it is not the end of the world, I still think the guys who embrace their baldness look much better than the guys who try and cover it up. I hope that if I reach a point where I am only fooling myself about my hair loss, that someone will let me know, and then I too will embrace the loss, and cut my hair short. But at least for now, that is decision that I do not have to make. I don’t have any doubts that as of right now, my hair is better off than it was a year ago, and how many times in life do you get to say something like that? Anyway, good luck to all.Original PostDefinitely getting new hair growth. I am 42 year old male who always had a thick head of hair. I was quite shocked to notice late last year that my hair was thinning out, specifically in the front left portion of my head. It had never occurred to me that I might have to face thinning hair/baldness, so I took it quite hard. Now I was not bald, but I was beginning to notice more scalp showing through my hair, especially when there is an overhead light. On the advice from my dermatologist, I bought my first can from the drug store, after that, I bought a 3 month supply from Amazon. As far as the cost goes there is no comparison, I think the 3 month supply cost about the same amount as the single can did from the drug store. A can does last me about a month, I am only using it in the thinning area in the front left hand portion of my head, and I try to use the recommended amount of half a capful, twice a day.Now for the nitty-gritty portion of my review. As others have mentioned before, I think you have to have your mind set prior to begin using this product. I think you have to be prepared to give this product a try for 4 months. I think you need to have reasonable expectations set, and an idea of how far you are willing to go to try and retain your hair. If you are going into this trial unsure if you are going to be able to do complete it, I think I would recommend against using it. You will certainly lose more hair at the onset. I was certainly worse off a month into using the product then I was at the onset. This was very discouraging. I was seeing some hair growth after a few weeks, but looking back on this now, I think these were just replacing some of the hair that this product caused to fall out in the first place, and not really new additional hair growing in. Thankfully these little hairs growing in encouraged me enough to keep going. If I had stopped after 6 weeks, I would have been far worse off.As I said before, I was not bald but thinning, and my goal was just to try and keep my scalp covered. Now that I am about 4 months in, I can definitely say that I see a lot less scalp showing through, even when there is an overhead light, or I am out and the Sun is overhead. When I part my hair, I see loads of small hair growing in. I also see hair growing in along the front of my hairline, even though the product says it will not work there. Now most of these hair are very fair in color, and do not seem to have much volume on their own, (I can tell however, that some of the older longer ones are darkening and might be thickening as well. I have some that are dark at the end, but are fair at the base) However, I think these fair hair are providing me with what I was hoping. Essentially filler, so that I do not see so much scalp through my hair. I do not expect to have as much hair as I did when I was young, I just don’t want to be in that in between state of having hair, and rocking the bald look. So far it has met my expectations.I also think it is helpful to have an idea of how far you are willing to go to keep your hair. My dermatologist recommended this product, but also mentioned the idea of propecia. Now I was willing to try this because their did not seem to be too many side effects, however I made up my mind before I started that I was not willing to go that far. Between the possible side effects, and the cost, I did not think it was worth it, and this brings me to my last point. I had to accept the very real possibility that I might lose my hair (and still might). For the first time, I began to take notice of how other men dealt with their hair loss. I have to say, that it is not even close, men who embraced the fact that they are losing/lost their hair, and decided to roll with it , look far better than the guys who try and cover it up. The guys who either shave their hear or cut it real close look far superior to the guys who try and do a comb over type thing. They seem to look far more comfortable and confident, in short, they look good. I decided if this stuff did not work for me, then I will try and embrace the change, and cut my hair short, that would be better than fretting about how it was looking, whether the wind was blowing it out of place, etc. I think that is the best advice I can offer about this whole thing. However, at least for the moment since this product does seem to be thickening my hair, that is a decision I can put off for now.Now for the last part of my novella here, as far as the actual routine of using twice a day, it is not too bad when you get in a routine. The first application I usually have to do at the gym in the morning after I shower. My hair is usually wet during this application. This stuff does seem to act like a mousse, holding my hair in place for the rest of the day, so I don’t use anything else. The second application is at night, shortly before bed, and my hair is usually dry at this application, so I get one wet and one dry application. Seems to be working for me. The actual application only takes a couple of minutes, and I kind of like the smell. I would also mention that I started taking 3K biotin, which you can buy at a drug store. I also started using that Nexus Shampoo available here on Amazon. Kind of expensive, I seem to like it, though I have only used it a handful of times so far, so I can’t gauge if it actually does anything. So in synopsis, here is my review. Working well on thinning hair (not bald), be prepared to give it an extended try or you will certainly be worse off for an aborted try, have reasonable expectations, know how far you are going to go with the whole process, baldness is not the end of the world, and may indeed be a good option. Also if you are going to try this, certainly buy it here rather than at a drug store.Good luck!

My 6 year old son suffers from alopecia. We have made multiple visits to the pediatric dermatologist and none of the treatments he prescribed works. He specifically stated to get the men’s foam version of Rogain. Obviously, not an instant fix but it does cause the hair to grow back with a little time.

I tried Rogaine Jan to June 2014. I basically used it every time I walked past the bottle in my bathroom (multiple times per day, much more than recommended). I did not expect it to work because the instructions said it was only for hair loss at the top on your head, but I was losing hair from my hairline only. After a couple months, my hair grew and got thicker, but it was never like the original hair. I stopped using it after a while and my hair started receding again, but very slowly (months/years). Over the years I used it from time to time when my hairline started looking really bad again. In summary, Rogaine causes hair to grow back. It will even help with your facial hair if you want your sideburns to connect with your beard. Unfortunately, your hair will probably never be as perfect as your original hair. The pics are from Jan, March, April, and June 2014.

My dermatologist recommended mens rogaine once a day, since there was no good reason behind my hair falling out like crazy at 28 years old. I have also been taking fo-ti root capsules twice a day. The combination has been a life saver. This is a 6 month difference.

Have never really had thinning hair loss or balding areas. I started using it as a preventative measure because of balding in my family. It totally works. I have noticed a thickening of each hair shaft. The key is consistently. I use it twice a day in the morning and night. I probably don’t need to use it 2X a day but I developed the twice a day habit of use. It would be kind of cool if Rogaine could occasionally provide some kind of coupons.

I tried couple of hair thickening products but doesn’t work. I thought I’m just going to accept the fact that I’m going to be bald at age 34. Thank God I found and tried Rogaine, after 5 months of using it twice daily I’m very satisfied and happy with the result. I’m going to use it continuously. I suggest you also use PuraDor Original Gold Label Anti-Hair Thinning Shampoo together with Rogaine. I’m using these two products for 5 months now. I hope my review is helpful to all out there with hair loss problem. By the way, before and after video are taken 5 months apart.

I have been using Minoxidil for about 5 months and I truly believe that it is starting to work I am having problems with the aerosol two of the bottles would not spray I contacted Johnson & Johnson and they are in the process of refunding but if you are beginning to loose your hair I think you should use it I believe it will help you at least keep the hair you have

Easy to use, don’t know that i am growing any new hair, but i guess I am keeping what i have.

My dermatologist stated the obvious. Ingredients are the same for men’s and womens. (Womens 5%) Only use once a day. Companies notoriously charge more for women (check out cleaners pricing on clothing!)

This product has a proven long history of supporting hair. Ignore comments that it doesn’t work. They obviously have genetic baldness, nothing is a cure for that, other than hair transplants. The hair you have will benefit from this product.

This foam worked for me. A lot of people fail to apply this product correctly, fail to stick to a consistent application schedule, and fail to apply for a long enough period of time.

I’m going through perimenopause and had lost a ton of hair. I tried thickening sprays, lots of shampoos (Nioxin, stem-cell shampoo, etc..) vitamins, you name it…but was still seeing lots of scalp. I know they say that this is not for women and it’s not for receding hairlines, but I didn’t care. I had to at least try it. The hair loss was seriously noticeable at my temples. So I used this once per day, about 5 times per week. I also started getting monthly B-12 injections, and I used Biotin Shampoo every other day. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ENCBOA0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&th=1This is the combination that has worked for me. Of course it doesn’t work for everyone, but I have very noticeable hair growth. The hair at my temples is back, and when I blow dry my hair, I can see sections of hair that are only several inches long because they recently grew back. I do have some fine blond hair growing at my temples and upper lip, but nothing too crazy, and it’s easy to wax or have threaded. I’d rather deal with that than deal with going bald. I tried the Kirkland version of minoxodil and it did not work like this.

Why 1 star for scent? Because it smells like rubbing alcohol…it’s Rogaine, it’s not meant to “smell good”. Duh. ._.Everything else is great though. I like it better then the dropper, although I swear it goes a LITTLE faster. The important part is, DOES IT WORK?…well, yeah. It’s not magic, but for me as a 21yo…losing my hair wasn’t really at the top of my priority list. Rogaine stopped that quick. And even thickened/re grew some hair.Big mistake people make is thinking it will make you go from basically no hair on the top of your head to Rambo. No, it won’t. You need to pay faaaaaaaaaar out the wallet for that with a hair transplant. But if you’re like me and notice hair starting to leave, and you’re not really digging the bald look yet, it’s prefect.

So I bought this to grow a beard and before using this product I can only grow side burns and a mustache but now that I been using it for over 3 months I’ve seen crazy results! My family is is shocked by the results they seem so surprised

So far so good I have been using this product for a month I plan to write another review in six months.

If you’re looking to grow hair in balding areas – whether on your head or beard – this is the way to go.Pros:-Easily application to problem areas. One capful in the morning, one capful at night-Helps skin retain moisture to promote hair growth.Cons:-If by mistake can have horrible taste while trying to eat if applied to beard-Can be messy if applied incorrectlyWhen combined with other hair products it works wonders.

I have been using it on the front left and right side also and not just the back. Starting off on my 3rd bottle i noticed im losing a lot less hair in the shower and when i apply it. It does look like im recovering a bit of hair but its not a crazy amount. I am really happy that im keeping what i have and losing a lot less. Because i have a bit of hair already, im going to switch to the liquid type. The foam seems to get stuck on my hair a lot more then on my scalp.

Ive been using rogaine for over 2 years now and it definitely has had positive effects. My hair loss has slowed considerably and possibly even got some regrowth.I recommend rogaine to all my friends. The foaming action is so easy. apply it to the spot with a quick squirt, the pat it in and using your fingers to kinda brush it into place.I wait a few minutes then brush my hair over it.Sometimes it hardens and looks like hair gel, but a quick brush through gets rid of that look

I have to admit that I had doubts about purchasing this product, although my dermatologist prescribed it for me, since I began to read the reviews and some comment that hair grows in areas where this foam had not been applied. Well, in this regard I wrote to my dermatologist commenting on this and his answer was a resounding NO, he said that the reason that hair grows where the foam is not applied is because people touch other areas where they do not need hair growth with their hands that they still have product. Ideally, wash your hands well after applying it. In summary, I have just been applying it for a month and I only do it once a day although the dermatologist ordered me 2 times, I have hair that is beginning to grow so I will continue for at least six months which is my next control with the dermatologist. I wash my hair every day with 2 percent ketoconazole, then I apply reconditioner but this is to control hair loss, then I apply the foam sectioning my hair as when it was dyed, it takes time but it’s easy.

My hair has been gradually thinning over the last 35 years. I have tried many things to help, but nothing really seemed to make a difference. I was at the point where I didn’t want to leave the house because my hair was so thin. I tried Rogaine foam at my dermatologist’s recommendation. Even though I am female, I use the men’s Rogaine two times a day. (Be advised that is not what the instructions recommend for women, so you can make your own decision about using it once (recommended for women) or twice daily.) It was the first thing that had ever helped. I could tell that I was shedding less hair. A few months later, I also started using Monat (directly from the company, so I was sure of authenticity) because my dermatologist had also mentioned Monat as a product that might help. I wash my hair every day with Monat’s Intense Repair shampoo and leave it on my hair for 5 minutes before rinsing and conditioning.I think together Rogaine foam and Monat have given me real results. While I still don’t have super thick hair, it now looks appropriate for someone my age (55). I am incredibly happy with the results. I don’t have to carefully try to arrange it on top and in the back to cover extra thin spots. They are gone. Someone who hadn’t seen me in a while stopped by. When I opened the door, she did a double take and said, “You have so much hair!” I told my husband about it and he said, “You do. You look like -” and pointed to a picture on the wall from about 12 years ago. He said I was getting a woolly head again! 🙂 (A slight exaggeration, but still nice to hear!)Also, I wanted to mention what didn’t work for me, in case that might help someone. I have tried lots of supplements and pills that are supposed to regrow hair and have never seen any results. I still take biotin anyway, because it is inexpensive, and lots of people say it helps. Also, I have noticed that sugar first thing in the morning really makes me shed a lot of hair. I was having fruit smoothies and my hair really started falling out. I now have a low carb breakfast. Lastly, in the past, when I tried Rogaine, I had always used the generic. I never saw any results, so I assumed the name brand Rogaine wouldn’t help either. But, at least for me, there was a night and day difference between generic and name brand Rogaine.(By the way, I am not getting any benefit from Rogaine or Monat for mentioning their products. I just hope my experiences can help someone else.) Blessings!

I have short dirty blonde hair and this acts as a very good styling product. It makes my hair look thicker immediately and works great on front of hairline (it’s just not FDA approved for front hairline because those test are expensive, but it works just as good there as in the back). I’m using it on my face for growing a beard as a ton of others have done and I like this because it doesn’t drip. It’s expensive and it wastes a lot using on hair so I’m getting the Kirkland liquid for the top and back of my head. I like this for the front because I know it won’t drip down. No scent, tastes a little funny, doesn’t dry my scalp or face out.

I purchased this product because they were offering a good amount for a great price. The results after 3 months weren’t very noticeable in my case. But I knew it might not work for my type of problem. Do your homework, as I did. However, the product comes in foam. Applying it was simple and not messy at all. So I do recommend it because it does work in certain types of hair loss. Just not mine.

I have been struggling with thinning hair for a while now. I have been trying everything from different types of shampoo to biotin supplements, etc. I went to a hair doctor and he recommended this. He told me Men’s would work better because it’s extra strength. I have been using it for 6 months now and it has made such a difference. I’ve had family and friends tell me my hair looks way thicker. I’m in the stage where I have a lot of shorter hairs at the top of my head because of new growth but I’m excited for when it grows out to my actual hair length. I use it twice a day and it doesn’t make my hair greasy/grimy at all. Just be patient to see results!

I’m a 20 year old experiencing mild hair loss. After a few months of struggling with it I began to notice my scalp was a lot more visible. I heard rogaine was an extremely good option for hair loss. I bought myself a 3 months supply and to my surprise, I have already began to notice it’s effects in just 2 days! Sure my hair loss is not completely gone, but I am loosing a lot less hair than before. Would definitely recommend!

HandG in. It works.

This really works! The proof is in the pictures. I’m a 54-year-old woman who has had bouts of telogen effluvium, on and off, for many years. This is after 3 months of use. I apply it once, every night, using the amount per the instructions. I may switch to every other night now since I’ve missed nights here and there and it is still working.

At my age I have i better beard now than my dad did when back when he was a teen. Always wanted to look older and I enjoy how fast the results came. Purchase disposable gloves so you won’t risk growing hair on your fingers. My advice is apply twice a day everyday in the exact same shape you want your beard or hair to come in. I had no side effects except acne once in awhile on treated areas.

I was skeptical and suspicious of all hair regrowth products. There was no way my hair was coming back. It had said good bye many years ago. But I figured I’d give Men’s Rogaine 5% Minoxidil Foam a try. I had nothing to lose but a few dollars if it didn’t work. I’ve been using it as directed for several months now and I truly see a positive and significant difference. Not only do I see a difference but my hair feels thicker and looks more like it did many years ago. I don’t suppose this works for everyone but it works for me and so I recommend it.

Product really works! I bought this for my husband after he got a random bold spot on the back of his head. He used this daily and we started seeing results after the 1st bottle and he completely restored his hair after the 2nd bottle. He didn’t need to use the third bottle. Don’t hesitate to buy this!

I am so so happy!!! This product has restored my hair with its magical formula! I have hair in places I never knew I had before! Like my forehead! And my pointer finger! (Just the left one)This is great if you constantly use it over and over. However when you stop, then the fun stops. It won’t fix your mellon with a lot of hair but it will assist in the decline of your funds in your bank if you buy this and use as directed. Not a scam. Just another thing that doesn’t work. Wait…isn’t that a scam? Hmmmmm

First- I am a woman, just read that ingredients are the same, they sell it in different containers for men and women, and for men it is cheaper:)I started losing hair about 8 months ago, every time I combed my hair there was a lot on the brush.I bought Rogaine in September, and after using for one and a half month can see a great improvement. Note that for over a months there was no change, but I kept using it as recommended on the package, and last week it was a big change – my brush comes practically clean of hair.

Didn’t purchase this for topical application, is being used alongside dermarolling for filling out beard. So far seems to be working really well.

Still using this , I will say this has prevented the rest of my hair from falling out but I think it’s continuing to still grow and sub stain so it’s something that you have to keep using.

My understanding was that products like this are hit or miss. They do not work for all people who try them. It seems to be working for me, re-activating hair follicles on the top of my head that were giving up the ghost. My hair definitely looks thicker, but by no means do I look like I am in my 20’s. I am also happy to no longer be finding hair in my sink every time I go brush my teeth. I would say that I am happy with the results, and will keep using it. My recommendation is to buy the three month supply, and give it a try for yourself. If you don’t feel like there is a difference after three months, don’t feel obligated to keep using it.

This is for my brother. His hair has been falling off recently. After using it for a while, it really doesn’t fall off, and it also grows a lot. It’s really amazing, so he will keep using it.

Good price for the three bottles, my husband uses it daily to stylish and after 4 months he have seen improvement in her hair and scalp. Recommended.

After the initial restoration phase you can maintin your results with a once a day application as described above without fear of hair loss, even if you forget to apply a couple times a week. The above regimen should be done with 1mg daily finasteride.

I recently switched from liquid to foam- foam is easier and less wasteful.I used offbrands for many years and they would give me dandruff if I used the 5% strength, so I had to stick with 2%.This was my first order of brand name Rogaine and there isn’t the slightest bit of dandruff. With the extra cost.

I can’t speak for the long-term benefits, but once it’s dry it volumizes and stiffens my hair, and becomes malleable but keeps its form. Even if I don’t regrow any hair, I’m going to keep using this to shape my hair. Conditioner makes my hair limp and greasy, and this creates the exact opposite effect. My hair’s gone from limp to fun. Hella recommend.

Used a beard oil but my brother suggested this product to me. Gave it a shot and been on it for 1 year now. Big progress with consistency and patience. I’m happy with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hair grower. Bought a 2nd pack and plan to be on it for a year or so…. no regrets! (Costco carry them too for same price 6 bottles)

My thinning started about a year ago. My hair started to fall out in an alarming rate in Sep. As a women the loss was freaking me out so I decided it’s time to stop it before it’s too late. I switched to a Biotin shampoo and conditioner. Applied hair mask weekly. Started to take multi-vitamin w. minerals. Stopped using hot hair dryer and Permanent hair dye (switched to at home demi-permanent to cover the greys). Applied Rogaine twice a day as instructed. Even though this was for men and had a warning about not using it if you’re a women, I have not found any adverse effect. (The ingredients look to be the same on men/women’s. Amazon won’t let me return it so I just kept it). About a month of consistent use, I had a lot of new growth. I now only apply the product once a day. The volume has returned and the condition of my hair is much happier than before. 🙂 I am convinced this has something to do with the new growth.

This stuff really works. I saw a visible difference with my very first can. I’m actually on my second set of three bottles. I still get regular haircuts but in the center of my head where the crown is my hair was thinning real bad. It now blends right in with the rest of my hair.

I use this product in combination with some other product and so far I still have hair. I have been using it since 2013 when I started to notice some serious thinning. The thinning has stopped or may be slow downed a lot.
